For The Benefit Of Bangladesh DhumketuX was founded by Nahiyan Dhumketu (Oli) with the vision of enabling a future where Bangladesh will be forefront of global leadership in space exploration for the benefit of Earth. In order to preserve Earth, Dhumketux believes that humanity will need to expand, explore, find new energy and material resources, and move industries that stress Earth into space.DhumketuX is working on this today by developing partially and fully reusable launch vehicles that are safe, low cost and serve the needs of all civil, commercial and defense customers.

The rocket “বায়ান্ন ৫২” (Bayanno 52), winner of Bangladesh’s first Rocketry Challenge at the A2i Innovation Competition 2022, honors the 1952 Bangla language movement. This cutting-edge prototype features advanced communication systems, symbolizing progress and innovation in Bangladesh’s aerospace endeavors.

Mission Low Earth Orbit (LEO)

The “Nazrul 01” orbital rocket by DhumketuX revolutionizes satellite launches with unmatched mass capacity and cost-efficiency. This milestone positions Bangladesh in the satellite launch sector, featuring multi-orbit insertion for streamlined deployment. Nazrul 01 elevates space technology capabilities and transforms satellite deployment processes.

Mission Kármán line 2025

Space Rocket (Bidrohi), DhumketuX’s flagship project, is Bangladesh’s first commercial space rocket. Inspired by Kazi Nazrul Islam’s poem, it symbolizes the nation’s bold leap into the global aerospace industry. This suborbital rocket will reach the Kármán line, advancing scientific research and national pride.

Boson Engine

Our Rocket team will develop a liquid rocket for human flight. We will use liquid oxygen (LOX) and Ethanol as fuel. We gave it the name “Boson Engine” as a tribute to someone special who was a mathematician and physicist specializing in theoretical physics, known as Satyendra Nath Bose

dhumketux team

DhumketuX is a group of students that work on rocket and drone. We aims to launch a rocket fully designed and made by our own technology, this will be the first rocket in the history of Bangladesh

Dhumketu 0.1 is a testing prototype to test our design, we are
using our own technology to launch and control the rocket.
Using Dhumketu 0.1 we will be able to observe our atmosphere
at least 5km.We are also hopeful that using Dhumkteu 0.1 a
new window will be opened for the nation in space journey.

DhumketuX team’s future mission is to go to the suborbital
within 2035 and Send human in the space within 2040.
